TENJA, June 1 (Hina) - Croatian authority and UNTAES
representatives, as well as family members on Monday commemorated
the fifth anniversary of the killing of the Osijek police
administration chief, Josip Reihl-Kir, and deputy president of the
Osijek municipal assembly, Goran Zobundzija, by laying wreaths on
the site of their killing in the occupied Tenja.
The laying of wreaths was organized by the Croatian Interior
Ministry and was attended by UNTAES and the Serb police.
The wreaths were laid by head of the Osijek Police Dubravko
Jezercic, head of the Croatian government Office for the Temporary
Administration for the Establishment of Croatian Authority in the
Croatian occupied area, Ivica Vrkic, and the father of the late
Goran Zobundzija, Vladimir Zobundzija.
Wife and son of the late Milan Knezevic, former member of the
Osijek town Council, who had also been killed at the same time in
Tenja, lit candles.
Present at the ceremony were also several residents of Tenja,
a town near Osijek which has been occupied by the Serbs since 1991.
