CRANS MONTANA, Jun 23 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation headed by Ambassador Petar Sarcevic attended an international business forum in Crans Montana, Switzerland, this week. The forum, which closed today, was attended by business and
government delegations from 60 countries as well as representatives of important international institutions.

The Croatian delegation took an active part in a panel on
central-European countries as partners in the 21st century and the
democratic developments in these countries.
Assistant Economy Minister Slavko Begic presented the positive
trends in the Croatian economy. He also held bilateral talks with
representatives of several banks, including the Switzerland-based
USB Bank, the EBRD and various French and Dutch banks interested in
supporting reconstruction and development projects in Croatia.
The Croatian delegation also attended a panel on cooperation
between the EU and eastern-European countries and a debatre on
international investments in the 21st century, chaired by World
Bank official John Page.
