Shazli told reporters that Egypt was interested in stabilizing
the situation in the region of former Yugoslavia.
He said that Egypt supported Croatia's efforts to be included
in the Mediterranean Forum, and stressed that Croatia was one of
those European countries with which economic relations should be
promoted.
Shazli also stressed that the Egyptian Foreign Ministry had
stimulated relevant institutions and companies to take part in the
International Zagreb Fair, as it was a good opportunity to promote
Egyptian products.
