intensify' and disabled war veterans 'could organise into a political party'.

actions and improve the financial status of disabled war veterans,
otherwise 'tensions could intensify' and disabled war veterans

Some 300 participants in the 1st convention of HVIDRA held in
Baska Voda today demanded the adoption of a law on rights of
Croatian defenders, the setting of a pension basis and the
subsidizing of rents. They also demanded from the Housing
Commission to submit a report on the recent allocation of flats.
HVIDRA also asked that the implementation of the Government
decision on the sale of facilities which are owned by the Defence
Ministry be stopped and that the activities of the Health Insurance
Office be revised.
HVIDRA will submit its conclusions to the Croatian President,
the Government and the Parliament.
