BIGGEST SEPARATED FAMILY REUNION TAKES PLACE FRIDAY

VINKOVCI, April 26 (Hina) - The UN Transitional Administration for Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem on Friday opened an official meeting point on the Vinkovci - Vukovar road, near Nustar, for reunions of separated families in eastern Slavonia. One hundred and seven persons arrived from the temporarily occupied areas, mostly from Mirkovci, Ostrovo and Karadzicevo, and 86 persons arrived from Vinkovci. Fourteen such reunions have already taken place on the Nemetin - Sarvas road and the Friday's one was the biggest so far.

He added that Serb and Croatian delegations met for talks at a UN checkpoint beside the Vinkovci - Vukovar road to discuss the construction of a port in Vukovar on the Danube - Sava canal.
