Leopold Jamnik from Umag was awarded a gold medal for
inventing an automatic potato planter. Silver medals went to
Tihomir Culjak from Osijek for improving a four-stroke engine with
rotating valves, and to Romano Debeljuh from Kanfanar, Istria, who
exhibited a device for picking asparagus and fruit.
Participating in the exhibition are more than 650 exhibitors
from 42 countries.
The Salon of Invention will close on Sunday.
