CROATIAN DELEGATION SIGNS BOOKS OF CONDOLENCES AT US COMMERCE DEPT

DEPT $ WASHINGTON, Apr 9 (Hina) - A Croatian Government delegation, led by Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa, arrived in Washington on Tuesday evening to attend the funeral of the late US Commerce Secretary Ron Brown. The commemoration will be held in the Washington Cathedral on Wednesday, after which Brown is to be buried at the Arlington cemetery near Washington. Meanwhile, Brown lies in state at the Commerce Department. The Croatian delegation last night visited the Commerce Department and signed the book of condolences. They met the acting Commerce Secretary, Mary Good, and her associates, Susan Lotarski and Peter Halle. It was agreed that Brown's mission in Croatia should be continued. The Croatian delegation includes Economy Minister Davor Stern and Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Simonovic.
