BUGOJNO MUSLIMS OPPOSE ROBERTS OWEN'S DECISION ON 25 MARCH CONSTIT

CONSTIT $ UENT SESSION BUGOJNO, March 20 (Hina) - The Bugojno Coordination Committee held a session today, which was chaired by the Committee's president Tarik Secic. The cause of the session was a decision of the personal envoy of the international arbitrator Roberts Owen, Vera Jovanovic, to call the constituent session of the Bugojno transitional Municipal Council for March 25. #L# Along with Muslim representatives, today's session was to be attended by Christian Schwartz-Schilling, mediator in the establishment of the Croat-Muslim Federation, Vera Jovanovic, members of Bugojno parliamentary parties and Croat representatives, who did not respond to Secic's invitation because he said that the agenda would include a discussion on preparatory activities for the constituent session, which had already been discussed, municipal committee of the Bugojno Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). The Muslim side said that Vera Jovanovic was not authorised to call the constituent session of the Bugojno Municipal Council, describing as one-sided the decision of the international arbitrator Roberts Owen to call the session of the transitional municipal authority in line with the 1990 election results, according to which the head of the municipal council should be Croat.
