Ankica Tudjman thanked Soic on behalf of the children and
herself, adding that in the current year the organization would
sponsor around 4,000 out of 5,500 children whose one or both
parents had been killed during the war, as well as 980 children of
missing persons.
Soic stressed that the Bank cooperated with a number of
organizations and that the bank assets had risen 136% in the last
year.
Since the beginning of war, the Bank had offered unselfish and
sincere help to all who needed it, from Dubrovnik to Vukovar, from
Croatian Army troops to Caritas and other humanitarian
organizations, Soic said.
