ZAGREB, Feb 8 (Hina) - The Croatian Council for Defence and National Security held a session in the Presidential palace today. The session was chaired by the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. The Council discussed Croatia's
cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), a statement from the President's Office said.

The session was chaired by the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.
The Council discussed Croatia's cooperation with the
International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), a
statement from the President's Office said. #L#
The Council and a group of legal experts discussed ways of
coordinating the Croatian legal system with Resolution 827 of the
UN Security Council, that is, with the Statute of the International
Tribunal.
Stressing again their support for the cooperation with the
Tribunal, the Council entrusted the Croatian Government with a
discussion on a draft law concerning the issue at its next session.
The Government was also obliged to take necessary measures as
regards the adoption of the law, the statement said.
Today's session was attended by Croatian Deputy Premier,
Ljerka Mintas-Hodak, President's advisor Smiljko Sokol, Justice
Minister Miroslav Separovic, Deputy Speaker of the Croatian House
of Representatives, Vladimir Seks, First Assistant to the Foreign
Minister, Ivan Simonovic, State Attorney Marijan Hranjski, Supreme
Court President Krunislav Olujic and head of the Croatian Radio-
Television, Ivica Mudrinic, the statement said.
