Croatian Ambassador to Pakistan, Marjan Kombol. #L#
Premier Bhutto greeted the signing of the Dayton peace
agreement and expressed support for the engagement of the
international community in the peace process. During her visit to
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1994, Bhutto said, she herself
had initiated the alliance between Bosniacs and Croats. Pakistan
had contributed to the establishment of peace by sending a military
contingent to Bosnia-Herzegovina and it had also agreed to send its
soldiers to eastern Slavonia as part of the United Nations
Transitional Administration in Eastern Slavonia (UNTAES), Bhutto
said.
