After the talks, the U.S. Secretary of State is expected to
hold a news conference this afternoon.
Announcing Christopher's visit independent Belgrade media said
that burning issues would be discussed such as the cooperation
between Belgrade and Bosnian Serb leaders with the International
War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, the recognition of all countries
that emerged from the former Yugoslavia, the engagement of Belgrade
in release of remaining detainees in Bosnia, the truth about the
whereabouts of thousands of missing people during the war in Bosnia
and the settlement to the Kosovo issue.
The state-run media made no mention of some of these topics,
but announced that the meeting with Christopher should be
successful.
