"The two delegations have discussed the sale of INA products
(petrol, masut and diesel) to 'Jugopetrol' under the agreement
signed on December 8, 1995. The products will be transported by
railway, after the railway net is opened. The Croatian and Yugoslav
railways are holding talks on all questions concerning the
organisation of transport.
As regards the transport of oil via the Adriatic pipeline, the
two companies have agreed to form a joint expert group which would
establish the technical state of the pipeline. They have also
agreed on inspectorates which would control the takeover of
products, their quantity and quality. A precondition for that is
the opening of a section of the Adriatic pipeline which runs
through the occupied part of the Croatian Danubian area and the
stoppage of further oil extraction from the Djeletovci oil field
and its transport to Serbia.
All these agreements and contracts would be put into effect
after Croatia and Yugoslavia recognise each other", the statement
said.
