ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - A three-day seminar on psychosocial and
medical assistance to male victims of sexual harassment during the
war opened in Zagreb on Friday.
This was the first time this problem was publicly addressed
after reports of wide-spread sexual harassment not only of women
but also of men during the war in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The seminar, sponsored by the Zagreb-based Human Rights
Centre, aimed to find models for the treatment of sexually abused
men.
The gathering would be addressed by Patricia Sellers of the
international war crimes tribunal in The Hague who would speak
about legal aspects of the sexual harassment of men in war.
