PARIS, Jan 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman arrived in Paris, where he is to attend a solemn mass in memory of the deceased former President of France, Francois Mitterrand. The mass will be held in the Notre Dame
Cathedral at 11 am.
PARIS, Jan 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman arrived in
Paris, where he is to attend a solemn mass in memory of the
deceased former President of France, Francois Mitterrand. The mass
will be held in the Notre Dame Cathedral at 11 am. #L#
At the same time, the former French president will be buried
in his hometown of Jarnac, southeastern France, in the presence of
his family.
After his arrival in Paris, President Tudjman visited the
Croatian Embassy. After the mass, he is to attend a dinner in the
Elysee Palace with other statesmen and government members of many
countries. The dinner is being given by French President Jacques
Chirac.
President Tudjman and his chief advisor Hrvoje Sarinic were
welcomed at Paris airport by Croatian Ambassador to France, Smiljan
Simac, Croatian Ambassador to UNESCO, Vesna Girardi Jurkic and
Minister Advisor in the Croatian Embassy, Filip Vucak.
