MASS CELEBRATED IN RECONSTRUCTED EVANGELICAL CHURCH IN VUKOVAR

( Editorial: --> 1242 ) VUKOVAR, Dec 28 (Hina) - A mass was celebrated in the reconstructed evangelical church in Vukovar, eastern Croatia, for the first time on Sunday. According to the president of the Evangelical Church in Croatia, Peter Kuzmic, the evangelical church in Vukovar used to gather many faithful before the conflict. "It will certainly continue to do so now, at a time when life together is again beginning in the area which witnessed a lot of suffering and pain", Kuzmic said. The doors of the church are open to all, regardless of faith and nationality, Kuzmic said. He conveyed to the faithful the regards of Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic.
