OSIJEK'S GRADSKA BANKA OPENS BRANCH IN VUKOVAR

( Editorial: --> 7335 ) VUKOVAR, Dec 10 (Hina) - Osijek's Gradska Banka opened a branch in the eastern Croatian city of Vukovar on Wednesday. The branch was opened by Mirko Tankosic, a member of the National Committee for restoration of inter-ethnic trust and assistant to the justice minister. The branch, which will start working in one shift, employs eight people who are all from Vukovar. Gradska Banka already has about 20 customers in the Vukovar area, also deals with foreign exchange and, in cooperation with the European Union, is taking part in the reconstruction of the city. At the beginning of next year the Vukovar branch of Gradska Banka will starts providing various forms of credit to local citizens. (Hina) mb jn 101727 MET dec 97
