PRISTINA, 7 Dec (Hina) - Sunday's elections for the new Serbian
president are being boycotted by Kosovo Albanians, who make 90% of
the population and electorate of Kosovo.
In the past ten years, Albanians were called on by their political
leaders not to go to the polls and they abstained from voting. This
time, they decided not to participate in the elections without
previous calls of their political leadership.
Despite the general boycott of the elections by the Albanian
population, radio Pristina announced that the elections were
progressing without any problems.
