ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Saturday received a delegation of the Croatian water resources
management company "Hrvatske Vode" on occasion of the 120th
anniversary of the organised water management in Croatia, the
President's office said in a statement.
Tudjman was informed about the main tasks of the company.
The company's officials said that since the establishment of
independent Croatia, the company had carried out two big projects -
one in the area of Zadar and Sibenik and the other in eastern
Slavonia.
Present at the meeting were Tudjman's advisors Pero Jurkovic and
Franjo Kajfez, Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic,
the president of the "Hrvatske Vode" board of directors, Josip
Marusic, the company's director-general Stjepan Sturlan and the
state water management's head Zorislav Balic.
