ZAGREB, Nov 13 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo
Sanader on Thursday returned from a working visit to Iran.
During meetings with Iranian Deputy President Hasan Habibi, the co-
chairman of the Croatian-Iranian Economy Commission, Road and
Transport Minister Mahmud Hojati, and other Iranian officials,
Sanader held talks about the continuation of bilateral economic
cooperation.
The meetings especially focused on the construction of four ships
for an Iranian customer in Croatian shipyards, and about the
completion of negotiations on agreements on avoiding double
taxation and the protection of investments.
Sanader informed his hosts about the course of the process of
peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danube river region,
normalisation of relations with Yugoslavia and the draft agreement
on special relations between Croatia and the Bosnian Federation.
As chair-country of the Islamic conference organisation (OIC),
Iran invited Croatia to be a guest at the next OIC meeting in Teheran
in December.
