ROMANIAN KILLED IN TRAIN ACCIDENT NEAR ZAGREB

ZAGREB, 20 Oct (Hina) - A Romanian national, Toader Cristian Cojocaru (aged 24), was killed in an accident on a railway line in a Zagreb suburb Sunday night. According to a police report, during their regular passenger control in a train travelling between Zagreb and Venice sometime after 1 am, border police discovered Cojocaru in a unlighted compartment. When he was asked to present his identification papers, Cojocaru jumped out of an open compartment window while the train was in full speed. He fell on the tracks and was overrun by the wheels.
