visit to the town. #L#
Commander of the frigate, Alan Massey, and his associates
were received by the Dubrovnik-Neretva County Prefect, Jure
Buric, and the Dubrovnik Mayor, Vido Bogdanovic.
Buric and Bogdanovic informed their guests about the
situation in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, especially about the
proportions of the Serbo-Montenegran aggression, economic
recovery and possibilities of development, especially in tourism.
Such visits proved that Croatia's south was a stable and
peaceful area, they said.
British officers visited the 4th Croatian army district in
Ston where they held talks with the commander of the south
Adriatic, battle ship captain Ante Urlic, and commander of the
4th Croatian army district, Brigadier General Mirko Sundov.
The "Campbeltown" is open for visitors.
