ZAGREB, Oct 15 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation headed by premier
Zlatko Matesa on Tuesday left for an official visit to Frankfurt
where it is expected to hold talks on possibilities of investing in
Croatia with members of the Deutsche Bank's administration.
Matesa, Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges, Croatian
National Bank governor Marko Skreb, and Michael Endres, a member of
the Deutsche Bank's administration, will present Croatia's economy
to representatives of the biggest German corporations (MAN AG,
Walter Bau AG, Siemens, Lufthansa) focusing on possibilities of
investing in and cooperation with Croatia's economy.
On Thursday, the Croatian delegation will visit Vienna, where
it is to meet with Austrian chancellor Viktor Klim and the
administration manager of the Bank Austria, Gerhard Rand. A seminar
on possibilities of investing in Croatia should be held in Austria
Bank.
Economy Minister Porges is expected to meet with his Austrian
counterpart, Johannes Farnleitner.
Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic will visit the
Croatian stall at the Frankfurt Books Fair. He will attend the
promotion of the first volume of "Croatia-Europe, Culture, Science
and Art", an edition of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
