WASHINGTON, Oct 2 (Hina) - Robert Gelbard, U.S. representative in charge of implementation of the Dayton agreement, is to visit Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade this week, State Department spokesman James Foley said Thursday.

charge of implementation of the Dayton agreement, is to visit
Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade this week, State Department

Gelbard is first to visit Zagreb, where he will meet
Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and other state officials. To
be discussed are Croatia's role in the functioning of the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the reintegration of eastern
Slavonia and the implementation of the Dayton agreements,
including the issue of war crimes.
On Friday or Saturday, Gelbard will meet Republika Srpska
President Biljana Plavsic and on Sunday the President of the
Bosnian Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic. The U.S. representative is
also to meet Bosnian Serb representatives from Pale, led by
Momcilo Krajisnik.
The most important meeting is the one with the Yugoslav
President Slobodan Milosevic, to take place on Monday.
Gelbard will personally convey the dissatisfaction of the
U.S. administration with the recent police violence against
demonstrators in Belgrade and Kosovo.
