During the meeting, Prtenjaca spoke about the extent of war damage in Zadar County, where some 4,000 houses were destroyed during the war. So far, 2,300 houses have been reconstructed, 600 are being reconstructed and the rest will be repaired during the next year, he said.

During the meeting, Prtenjaca spoke about the extent of war

Prtenjaca also stressed the problem of unremoved mines, which
often caused victims. Western countries should have more
understanding for Croatia and its post-war problems, Prtenjaca said.
The Canadian delegation also held talks with the
representatives of Zadar Chamber of Commerce.
