PALE, Aug 30 (Hina) - Special U.S. envoy for the implementation of
the Dayton Accord in Bosnia-Herzegovina Robert Gelbard on Saturday
warned the fraction of Bosnian Serbs whose political leaders are
based in Pale that the international community considered their
behaviour in relation to the latest events in Republika Srpska as
terrorist acts and that if this continued it would have grave
consequences.
After a meeting in Pale with BH Presidency member Momcilo
Krajisnik, Gelbard said the current situation was more serious both
for the future of the peace process and of Republika Srpska than any
previous challenge.
We are interested in field results and action, Gelbard said,
adding that Pale's attitude in the past few days indicated only the
worst kind of behaviour.
The attitude of Pale showed they were not interested in the
implementation of the Dayton agreement , Gelbard told reporters,
adding they were acting in a totalitarian way.
The U.S. special envoy said he told Krajisnik and his
associates their behaviour in Banja Luka and Brcko was of a
terrorist nature. I most seriously warned him this must change at
once or it would have the gravest consequences, Gelbard pointed out.
