Countess Ruic, whose ancestors come from Solta (central
Adriatic) is willing to cede her family land of 13,000 square
meters in Necujam on Solta for the construction of the
sanatorium. She has already found investors in Canada.
She said she wanted to help the island where her ancestors
had been born and her homeland Croatia, particularly for the sake
of attracting rich clientele.
The amount of 50 million dollars is secured if I get
support from Croatian authorities and Croatia's medical circles.
The members of the County administration Andro Ozretic and
Josko Kalilic stressed that the County supported the project
because of its importance for the development of Solta, as well
as for the development of health and luxury tourism.
