DUBROVNIK, Aug 1 (Hina) - Mayor of Dubrovnik, Vido Bogdanovic, on
Friday received a member of the European Parliament, Doris Pack,
and a member of German parliament (Bundestag) Peter Jakobi.
Present at the reception was a Croatian Parliament Vice-
President, Zarko Domljan.
Their talks revolved round reconstruction of war-damaged
houses and cultural monuments in the area of Dubrovnik, and round
Croatia's bid for inclusion into European integration processes.
Pack said she was making hard efforts to explain to
European Parliament members that Croatia was a part of Europe.
Efforts aimed at bringing Croatia closer to Europe were long-
standing, she added.
She also described a s very important the establishment of
a lasting peace in Bosnia-Herzegovina and implementation of the
Dayton accord.
