SLAVONISKI BROD, 6 July (Hina) - At around 10 p.m. last night, a storm accompanied by strong wind, rain and hail hit the eastern and western parts of Brodsko Posavlje area, causing extensive damage to crops and commercial
facilities.

According to still incomplete information, the storm caused most
damage in the municipality of Bebrina (village of Dubocac) and
municipalities of Sikirevci and Gudinci.
County Prefect Mirko Tomac visited the area this morning. He stated
that the consequences of the storm were disastrous. A commission would
assess the damage done to crops and commercial facilities, he said,
adding that the state of natural disaster would probably be proclaimed
in the area.
