Croatia and Slovenia had a task to solve issues which could no
longer be postponed, such as the border problem on land and sea, issues
of the Ljubljanska Banka and property ownership, Pavletic said after the
meeting.
He stressed there were several areas in which the two countries
should cooperate, such as negotiations on succession, and mutual support
in accessing Euro-Atlantic integrations.
Slovene Parliament Speaker Podobnik said the talks had also focused
on Slovenia's experience in its efforts to be admitted into NATO and the
European Union.
Pavletic and Podobnik stressed that the intense cooperation between
the Croatian and Slovene parliaments would continue in the future.
After visiting the Croatian Parliament, the Slovene delegation was
received by Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa.
