SARAJEVO, July 8 (Hina) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Kresimir Zubak, on Tuesday received the special envoy of
the UN Secretary General, Kai Eide, International Police Task Force
(IPTF) commissioner, Manfred Seitner, and US Embassy's Charge
d'Affaires, Robert Beecroft. #L#
The talks had focused on the continuation of the process of the
establishment of the joint police in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton,
Zubak's office said in a statement.
Zubak stressed that the draft agreement prepared by him and
chairman of the Bosnian Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic, on the formation
of the police in the canton, contain all necessary regulations for the
gradual establishment of the police, in line with the Declaration on the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and that amendments to the agreement
were not necessary.
Zubak also received the Kresevo municipal leadership head, Zdravko
Franjcevic, who informed Zubak about the programme of return of refugees
and displaced persons to the area, under the principle "all for all"
which is to be presented to the international community representatives,
as well as to the Bosnian Federation Refugees Ministry.
The implementation of the programme would provide the municipality
and town of Kresevo with all conditions for full support of the
international community in its reconstruction, the statement said.
