ZAGREB, 7 June (Hina) - The election headquarters of presidential candidate Vlado Gotovac on Saturday issued a statement saying that 'the health condition of presidential candidate Vlado Gotovac is not stable, according to today's
'unfavourable electroencephalographic findings', caused by 'an extremely strong blow to the area above his left temple'.
ZAGREB, 7 June (Hina) - The election headquarters of presidential
candidate Vlado Gotovac on Saturday issued a statement saying that 'the
health condition of presidential candidate Vlado Gotovac is not stable,
according to today's 'unfavourable electroencephalographic findings',
caused by 'an extremely strong blow to the area above his left temple'.

The statement further said that 'Gotovac will not be able to
continue his election campaign with the same intensity'.
Gotovac was assaulted during an election rally in Pula on 5 June.
The election headquarters decided to reduce the number of election
rallies and activities of the presidential candidate as well as to
postpone Gotovac's appearance on Croatian television, scheduled for
Thursday, 12 June.
At Gotovac's explicit request, preparations for the central
election rally, scheduled for 7 p.m. on 11 June, 1997, at central Zagreb
Ban Jelacic square, will proceed, said the statement from Gotovac's
election headquarters.
