ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa, on
Thursday morning held talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Genadi
Udovenko on political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two
countries.
After the Zagreb talks, Matesa said he had accepted an invitation
of Ukrainian Prime Minister to visit Kiev officially, and announced that
visits of businessmen of the two countries would be soon exchanged.
The Ukrainian minister confirmed that he had conducted open talks
with Croatian Premier on all forms of the cooperation between the two
countries and added that there were great possibilities of furthering
relations in the economic field.
Matesa announced that Croatia and Ukraine would continue talks on
important economic treaties such as free trade zone and foreign
investment protection contracts.
