PHOTO EXHIBITION ON PERSECUTION OF JEWS OPENED IN ZAGREB

ZAGREB, 2 June (Hina) - A photo exhibition, entitled 'War and Persecution - Fate of Austrian Jews 1938 - 1945', was opened Monday evening in the gallery 'Gradec' in Zagreb. The author of the exhibition is an art photographer Eva Choung Fux from Vienna. The exhibition, organised by the Austrian Foreign Ministry and Austrian Cultural Institute in Zagreb, includes 245 photos of people who survived the Holocaust and members of their families, born after the war. The exhibition was opened by the Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic. Attending the opening was also the head of the Austrian Cultural Institute, Walter Maria Stojan.
