The meeting, organised by the Croatian Ministry of Transport,
Communications and Maritime Affairs, included discussions on the
coordination of operations and procedures controlling the safety of
foreign planes, with the aim of intensifying the safety of public
air transport.
According to a Croatian Transport Ministry official, Miljenko
Radic, the meeting also included a discussion on visits of Croatian
experts to foreign airline companies.
Croatia Airlines has already hosted inspectors from the German
Transport Ministry and the visit was successful, Radic said.
All European ministries of transport and civil aviation
departments have been informed about the results of such visits and
this meeting is a proof that Croatia is fully ready for the
forthcoming tourist season, Radic said.
