SARAJEVO, Mar 15 (Hina) - The fight for Brcko continued, Co-
President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BH), Ejup Ganic,
told the Council of Bosniak Intellectuals in Sarajevo on Saturday's
forum "Brcko and Problems of Reintegrating BH".
Brcko was important for the reintegration of BH, Ganic said,
because BH would begin to function with it. For the integration of
this disputed northern Bosnian town, according to Ganic, the most
important thing was for Bosniaks (Muslims) and Croats to have
united stands.
The return of refugees and the establishment of state
institutions were two basic conditions for the integration of BH,
Ganic said, pointing out that BH must develop and become stronger
in those parts where democracy was really in control.
The strengthening of the BH Federation was the shortest way,
accepted and assisted by the international community, to
reintegrate BH, where we must fortify the idea of tolerance and
reconciliation, and respect human freedoms, Ganic further pointed
out.
We would enter into stable politics with Croatia in the
future, he said, but with Serbia uncertainty would continue. We
would not allow those who do not want an integral BH to take a part
of it away, Ganic concluded.
