ZAGREB, Mar 10 (Hina) - The President of the Croatian Parliament,
Vlatko Pavletic, on Monday visited an exhibition of national
costumes from the Vukovar-Ilok area and an exhibition of national
costumes from all over Croatia, given as a present for the City
Museum of Vukovar.
Both exhibitions were staged at the Zagreb Ethnography Museum
by the City Museum of Vukovar in exile, preparing for its return to
their still occupied hometown.
Stressing that the two exhibitions would soon "speak of the
beauty of Croatian costumes" in Vukovar, Pavletic said that Croats
were returning to Vukovar not only with their political and
economical achievements, but also with a rich creation by the
Croatian people.
Pavletic was given a Vukovar picture book entitled "Ancient
Croatian Town on the Danube".
