TUDJMAN'S CHIEF-OF-STAFF RECEIVES EUROPEAN COMMISION'S SPECIAL ENV

SPECIAL ENV $ OY FOR CROATIA ZAGREB, Mar 7 (Hina) - The Croatian President's chief-of-staff Hrvoje Sarinic on Friday received the European Commission's special envoy for Croatia, Per Vinther. Sarinic was optimistic concerning a successful holding of elections in the Croatian Danubian area on 13 April, when local elections would be held in other parts of Croatia too. Today's talks also focused on the commission's assistance, and that of other member-countries of the European Union, in the reconstruction of the Danubian area, through direct aid and the opening of credit lines for the reconstruction.
