CRO AND YUGO COMMISSIONS FOR MISSING PERSONS START MEETING

ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - Croatian and Yugoslav governments' commission for missing and detained persons, on Thursday commenced a regular meeting in Zagreb to continue a process of data exchange on missing people. "We are expecting from this meeting, first of all, documentation and identification protocols for missing persons and defenders from all parts of Croatia," a Croatian Vice Premier, Ivica Kostovic, said to reporters before the beginning of the Zagreb meeting. "Relations between Belgrade and Zagreb are being developed well," Kostovic said and added that there was "great understanding" in solving humanitarian issues of missing people. The Croatian side would try to give data which would solve certain fates of people whom Yugoslavia was searching and who had gone missing in Croatia, he said. The Yugoslav government was ready to present all data and documents it possessed to the Croatian side, the head of the Yugoslav government's commission, Maksim Korac, told reporters. A statement on results of the session is expected to be released today or tomorrow. (hina) mm mš 061519 MET mar 97
