ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier Borislav Skegro opened the Second Financial Forum - a fair of Croatian financial manifestations in Zagreb on Wednesday. The forum, which is organized by the "Infoinvest" company under
the auspices of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Zagreb stock market, gathered 60 participants and will be opened until 7 March.

Second Financial Forum - a fair of Croatian financial manifestations in
Zagreb on Wednesday.
The forum, which is organized by the "Infoinvest" company under the
auspices of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Zagreb stock market,
gathered 60 participants and will be opened until 7 March. #L#
Opening the forum, Skegro said that the number of participants and
equipment of the forum showed that Croatia had started toward the
development of the market and capital.
The year 1996 had been an extraordinarily important year for the
Croatian money and capital market, and the trend would continue, Skegro
said.
He stressed that the government and the Croatian Central Bank would
remain consistent in their policy of a firm and stable currency and overall
stability.
The forum was also addressed by a representative of the London stock
market, Maria Clohessy.
