SPLIT, 3 March (Hina) - The Croat displaced from the Croatian
Danubian area, currently accommodated in the Split County, on
Monday sent a letter to the Croatian government, protesting over
the 'minimizing of war crimes in the Croatian Danubian area'.
The Croat displaced hold that the number of war criminals is
much higher that the one presented on a list made by the Croatian
government. They demanded from the government to fully respect
international law in defining the term war crime.
The displaced called on all Serbs who arrived in the Danubian
area from other parts of Croatia, to vote at 13 April elections for
the bodies of representation in the towns they had come from, and
not for those in the Croatian Danubian area.
It is of utmost importance that the displaced take part in the
elections, the displaced said at today's press conference.
