BANDUNG, Feb 28 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa on
Friday visited the Indonesian factory "Nusantara Aircraft
Industry", in whose airplanes Croatian air companies might be
interested.
A special place in the factory's production goes to the
N-250-100 passenger plane, which will be fully flown by a
computer, a feat included only in Airbus planes and some
Boeing models.
This type of plane, with a 68-passenger-capacity, was
best suited to Croatia's map, distances and airport-network,
Matesa said and pointed out that he expected representatives
of interested Croatian air companies, primarily Croatia
Airlines, to visit the factory.
The plane's cost, USD 14.5 million, was, in comparison
with other similar aircraft, accessible, Matesa concluded.
