ZAGREB, Jan 30 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister, Gojko Susak, on
Thursday received Istvan Gyaramati, the head of a Hungarian Defence
Ministry delegation that is on a two-day tour to Croatia.
Minister Susak and Gyaramati, who is a Hungarian assistant
state secretary of multilateral relations, considered issues
concerning the stability and security in the region, the
implementation of the SFOR mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the
peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area, the Croatian
Defence Ministry reported.
Minister Susak stressed the need for the speedy return of
Hungarians who had been expelled from their homes in eastern
Slavonia in 1991 (during the Serb aggression), and added that
Hungarians' joining in the local police was necessary for their
safe and secure return to the area.
