UNTAES SPOKESMAN CONFIRMS ILOK EXPLOSION

OSIJEK, Jan 7 (Hina) - The spokesman for the UN Transitional Administration in Eastern Slavonia (UNTAES) Philip Arnol, confirmed in a telephone interview with Hina on Monday that an explosive device was detonated outside the church of St Ivan Kapistran in Ilok at 4.00 hours. Arnold said that no one had been injured and that the explosion had damaged the walled-up entrance to the church. He added that the type of explosive device had not been determined yet.
