CRIKVENICA, Jan 5 (Hina) - The Croatian Folklore School has begun
a ten-day folklore course in the northern Adriatic resort town of
Crikvenica.
Classes, organized by the Croatian Emigrants' Society, are
being attended by a record 172 participants. Besides Croats from
Croatia, also participating are Croats from Australia, Austria,
Canada, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Sweden and Yugoslavia.
Along with distinguished ethnologists and
ethnomusicologists, they will perform songs and dances from the
Adriatic region, from Boka Kotorska in the south to Istria in the
north.
