Cardinal Puljic informed Tudjman about the situation in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Tudjman and the Cardinal expressed support for a complete
and consistent implementation of the Dayton and Washington
agreements, which had to be accelerated, especially the
establishment of authority in the Bosnian Federation, federal
cantons and municipalities as soon as possible.
They also stressed the need for the founding of a Croat
community which would gather all strata and interests of the
Croat people in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and expressed satisfaction
with the fact that the Croat people in Bosnia-Herzegovina
enjoyed the support of Croatia and the state leadership.
Present at the talks was also President's Chief-of-Staff
Hrvoje Sarinic, the statement said.
