ZAGREB, Dec 28 (Hina) - The Zagreb County Court investigating judge in pre-trial proceedings against Nada Sakic, indicted for war crimes against civilian population in World War II, on Monday heard witness Pava Molnar. Molnar (born in 1921) was arrested in Zagreb on February 6 1942. Following a police interrogation, she was transferred to the Stara Gradiska concentration camp, where she remained until January 1944, when she was exchanged and released. The witness confirmed that at the end of 1942 she had used to see Nada Sakic, then Nada Luburic, wearing an Ustasha uniform, crossing the yard of the Stara Gradiska camp. Molnar also spoke of her suffering and the days of her incarceration in the notorious Kula building. She had been sent to the Kula upon orders by Maja Buzdon. Molnar said she had eye-witnessed the killing of a woman, executed by Buzdon herself because she discovered the woman had an aspirin with her. Molnar also testified about the murder of ten prisoners from Mt. Kozara, who were killed by Ante Vrban. Sakic's court-appointed attorney Branko Seric said the hearing would continue tomorrow. Another 20 witnesses are expected to testify. (hina) rml
