The news item should now read: SATISFACTORY SOLUTION FOR MARTIN BROD REACHED - FOREIGN MINISTRY ZAGREB, Dec 24 (Hina) - With an agreement to solve the contentious issue of Martin Brod by intensifying the work of state border commissions of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, a solution has been reached which would satisfy all interested sides, a source with the Croatian Foreign Ministry said Thursday. "After intense diplomatic talks and communications at all levels, a solution has been reached which would satisfy all sides interested in the disputable border area of Martin Brod (southern Croatia, western Bosnia-Herzegovina)," the source said. "The solution will enable us to finally establish the border of Martin Brod without bias and unnecessary tensions "through a previously agreed upon and intensified work of the joint border commission of Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina," the source stressed.
