VUKOVAR, Dec 11 (Hina) - The Vukovar City Committee of the +Independent Serb Democratic Party (SDSS) have given up on +boycotting the work of the city's administration which was +scheduled for Friday.+ The boycott has been cancelled

leaders of the city committees of the SDSS and the Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ).
"Yesterday's agreement is a long-term and adequate solution,"
president of the Vukovar HDZ, Petar Mlinaric, said Friday.
He added that solutions to most part of the SDSS's requests have
been achieved, to the satisfaction of both sides.

An agreement was reached on the professionalisng of the function of
deputy mayor, Mlinaric said.
President of Vukovar's SDSS, Lazo Djokic, described the agreements
as positive.
He called it a turning point in the relations between the two party
branches.
"We have come to a joint agreement that the interests of both sides
must be to the benefit of all residents of Vukovar", he stressed.
