ZAGREB, Nov 19 (Hina) - The Croatian news agency Hina's former +editor-in-chief Mirko Bolfek received on Thursday at the agency's +HQ in Zagreb the Order of the Croatian Morning Star with the image of +Marko Marulic.+ Bolfek received
the decoration, bestowed upon him by the Croatian +President Franjo Tudjman, from Hina's main director Branko Salaj. + When presenting the award, Salaj stressed Bolfek's major +contribution to the development of modern Croatian newsagency +reporting. editor-in-chief Mirko Bolfek received on Thursday at the agency's
HQ in Zagreb the Order of the Croatian Morning Star with the image of
Marko Marulic.
Bolfek received the decoration, bestowed upon him by the Croatian
President Franjo Tudjman, from Hina's main director Branko Salaj.
When presenting the award, Salaj stressed Bolfek's major
contribution to the development of modern Croatian newsagency
reporting. Salaj added that he hoped that at his new post as Hina's
Paris correspondent, Bolfek would keep playing an important role in

Mirko Bolfek took up the office of Hina's editor-in-chief in April
1991. He will continue working for the agency as its correspondent
from Paris.
